[webmaster's statement]

Larry Grams
April 9, 1948 ~ November 20, 2008

Larry and I worked on his web site together in the winter of 2004. We met through various events and exhibitions at the Cultural Arts Center in Douglasville, GA, where he lived at the time. I admired his photography and his elegantly spare sense of design. When he asked me to help him put up a web site, I agreed on the condition he would guide the design and teach me to pare away extraneous flourishes. Larry's photographs were a delight to see on my computer screen every day of the collaboration.

I have made no changes to this web site except to update the links and change the contact info. Larry planned to tweak the site and add galleries in the future, but he got distracted by other creative endeavors, so that didn't happen. He was pleased with this presentation of his work when the site went live in 2004.

Larry's friendship and creative talent will be greatly missed.
