Angie's award-winning artworks span a broad range of media, from intricate pencil drawings to life-size sculpture. Collage and assemblage have become the chosen art form to embody her love of multi-media. The collage processes of layering collected treasures of nature and items from "life's journey" communicates in the storytelling tradition of the deep South, making her art a congruent and authentic extension of the artist. Angie has over 25 years of teaching-artist experience working with all age levels in a variety of teaching settings. In 2001 she received the Kaleidoscope Award from The Georgia Assembly of Community Arts Agencies for a special mentoring project using the Internet to connect her students to Art Pals (other professional artists).
