Polly Harrison

  We regret to report the loss of Polly Harrison's bright light from our midst. Her words and work continue to inspire all who knew her.

"I enjoy the adventure of finding ways to use trash in the pieces I create. It is a joy to see it transformed into objects that can be appreciated as art, rather than seen as society's discards. The consistency of my work does not lie is technique or materials, but my effort to make a statement for conservation."

Polly was famous for her baskets woven from movie film "coming attractions," men's neckties, and rubber innertubes with dog tag embellishments.
