Sean Driscoll

Musician, Composer, Storyteller (a.k.a. "Professor Time")

Sean Driscoll performs regularly throughout the Eastern United States in radio, television, school, concert and festival settings. He was selected for artis- in-residence programs in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina (1990-present), for the Georgia Council for the Arts Touring Roster (1992-1996) and for Young Audiences (1999 to present). Mr. Driscoll reaches thousands of children and adults each year through hundreds of residencies, workshops and performances.

All performances include stories, magic, music and more. Sean tells original works from life experiences as well as folk tales from around the world. Listeners interact by singing songs, helping with magic tricks and playing instruments to accompany stories. Audience members play exotic instruments such as rainsticks, thunder tubes, bird tweeters, insect rattles, frog croakers, whalephones (imitates the sounds of whales) and many others. Sean plays a variety of instruments including the classical guitar, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, Indian flute, digeridoo, bodrhan, drums and many other instruments from cultures around the world.
